Doctor: I’m away of his stay in the hospital a few weeks ago, and it appears as if the same tissue that we closed then was reopened. I don’t know how, I’m assuming sports…or a fight. Either way, when you leave a scar like that open it will bleed out. Even though you can’t see it, it can do severe damage to your stomach, and intestines. He left it open for too long. I’d say a day is about when you really start to feel it. He obviously knew what was going on. After a while, your body will give out, and won’t be able to support him anymore. That’s why right now he’s like this. We’re going to have to do surgery to go in and find the bleeding, and if it’s clotting. If it is we’ll have to remove it. It’s a very serious procedure, and can be dangerous at times. At the moment I can’t tell you when he’ll wake up, but it won’t be very soon.

I Miss You (Acoustic) - Blink-182
It had been a few days since the fight with Ben. It had been minor to Isaac, probably because he’d been hospitalized because of a fight before. A few blows to the stomach wasn’t anything to worry about. Isaac opened his eyes, and the woozy, pounding feeling in his stomach was still there. He figured that if he just ignored the problem it would eventually go away, even though he knew better. Isaac was scared, and he didn’t want to go to the doctor or the hospital. He didn’t want to go through what he did last time because it almost ruined him completely. Isaac got out of bed, and gripped the table next to him so he wouldn’t fall over. There was no way he was making it to class today. It was impossible to even walk across his room without falling over. Making sure to keep a hand on the wall, Isaac made his way slowly to the bathroom where he immediately dropped to his knees and ended up throwing up…again. For once he knew exactly what was wrong. The internal bleeding from the last time must not have been completely healed when he took another blow to the same spot from Ben. It had returned, but Isaac didn’t want to do anything about it. Twice in the same month? Maybe that was just a sign that he wasn’t supposed to fix it.
Isaac tried to stand up again only it didn’t work. He sighed, and put all his effort into standing up, and leaning on the counter. Looking in the mirror he examined himself. His eyes had bags under them, and he looked more pale than he’d ever seen. His stomach was scattered with reddish purple coloring and it was so sensitive that if you even poked him it would turn some strange color. He reached out his hand to the sink to wash his face and brush his teeth. Even simple actions like that took too long because it hurt him to even move. He knew he was being stubborn, and frankly stupid about the whole thing, but that’s how he was in general.
Not feeling any better, Isaac managed to get back to his room and put on a shirt. He collapsed on his bed again. He laid there and contemplated what to do. Sighing, he took a few minutes to stand on again. He grabbed his keys, and stumbled down the hallway until he was outside. He was on no shape to drive, but he was finally going to the hospital so he just went with it before he changed his mind again. Getting into his car, he sighed again. He pulled out of the parking lot and put all the energy he had left into getting to the emergency room. Finally he did, and he couldn’t even park the right way before he opened the door and collapsed onto the ground. Feeling like he was going toe cry or explode, Isaac used the side of his car to get up. Falling over worse than he had been for the past few days, he took a good twenty minutes to just get inside the door, and to the front desk. A lady turned around and smiled at him, but the smile faded as soon as she saw him. “Sir? What happened to you? You’re not okay. What’s wrong?” she asked panicked. Isaac opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Instead he ended up throwing up all over the floor again. She jumped up and walked around to help him. “I….I’m-” he didn’t get to finish his sentence before he just fell to the ground. He thought it was just like all the other times, and he’d be able to get up slowly again. But this time he couldn’t move. Isaac tried to talk, or move, or anything but within a few seconds everything went black. He could only hear the panicked voices around him, but they were quickly fading.
Let’s hope not… I’m never not going to worry about you, I thought we got over this.
I’m sure it’s not. Ok..but I’m never not going to tell you to stop worrying about me.
Well it looks like we’re both going to be doing this forever then. Let me know if you need anything?
I guess we are. I will…but I won’t need anything :)
I guess I can stay with Austin again. Nothing’s gonna happen. Please don’t worry about me?
Let’s hope not… I’m never not going to worry about you, I thought we got over this.
I’m sure it’s not. Ok..but I’m never not going to tell you to stop worrying about me.
Tomorrow? It would really make me feel better if you went today…
But I told the doctor what was happening, and he said as long as I got there bright and early tomorrow I’d be fine.
…Are you at least with someone? Austin? Alex? Nick? If something happens, I don’t want you to be alone):
I guess I can stay with Austin again. Nothing’s gonna happen. Please don’t worry about me?
……maybe……..
You’re going to the hospital. No buts, you promised.
I have an appointment for tomorrow already.
Tomorrow? It would really make me feel better if you went today…
But I told the doctor what was happening, and he said as long as I got there bright and early tomorrow I’d be fine.
